The South West Herts Narrowboat Project exists to provide a narrowboat facility for use by all community and youth groups.

Our 12 berth narrowboat is based at our own moorings where the River Gade joins the Grand Union Canal at Hunton Bridge.

The boat was taken out of service during the autumn of 2009 so that the interior can be completely refitted and some mechanical work carried out; it is hoped to complete the work during 2010. Our main task during this year is to raise the necessary funds to have the work done. Once the refit is complete, Dick's Folly will be available to all users at a highly subsidised rate. This is only achieved by the work of volunteers and donations from our sponsors.

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the Project. If you would like a new hobby, why not try volunteering? New user groups are also welcome.
