Pickles Folly
With ample seating, cooking facilities and charging points, this well-equipped 10-berth narrowboat is idea for smaller community groups or as a second boat for large youth groups.
The flexible design of the first sleeping cabin means it can either accommodate four people – or be converted into a cabin for one wheelchair user, who can access a wetroom shower and toilet next door. The forward saloon can be converted into an extra two to four berths if required.
Please note all boats hired through the trust need a minimum of two qualified skippers. Our RYA inland waterways training can support you in this – with discounts given for community organisations.

An accessible narrowboat
Pickle’s Folly is a 60-ft narrowboat with adaptations that means it is accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
There is ample seating inside, cooking facilities, a fridge/freezer and two wetrooms with showers.
The rear deck is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair and the hydraulic lift will carry anyone with mobility difficulties into the cabin.
The 10-berth boat was built in 2012 by Starline Marine in Stourport-on-Severn and named after Graham Pickett – whose bequest made the boat possible.
